Meet the team: Management

The Management team is in New Zealand, always in contact with clients, on the same time zone and the hub of the global Blue South team. A blend of superb linguistic skills and business experience means that we understand your business requirements and can deliver the translation service that businesses require. Meet the management team:

Hayden Barrett, Director, has a background in Electrical Engineering with many years of experience in the engineering industry. He has successfully established, owned and operated several businesses in Christchurch, New Zealand, before taking over Blue South in January 2009. He has a strong emphasis on customer service, an excellent understanding of business translation requirements, and is highly experienced in computer software applications.

Nadine Murphy, Project Manager, has a Bachelor of Japanese Language. She has many years of project management experience in the translation industry. Nadine has lived in the United Kingdom and while there, worked in a company that dealt with many foreign nationalities, so has a good knowledge and understanding of the European culture and way of life. In addition to her native English, Nadine understands Japanese and has a working knowledge of other Asian languages.

Matt Mace, Project Manager, holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and comes from a strong customer service background. He is highly experienced in using many different computer software packages and has a keen interest in translation memory software. With a strong appreciation of the translation needs of the businesses we work with, Matt is excited to work with our existing and prospective clients.
